March Madness Investing – Ohio State Is Ahead – Covered Calls

The winner of the NCAA basketball tournament was resolved last night with the Florida Gators handily defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes 84 to 75.

The Buckeye covered calls positions are currently returning a positive 2% versus losses of -1.9% for Georgetown, -0.6% for UCLA and -1.1% for Florida. Maybe this makes sense as the Ohio State Buckeyes had a pretty good lead over the Georgetown Hoyas for most of the semi-final game between those two teams, and UCLA did briefly jump out to an early lead over Florida in their semi-final game.
