Twas the Night Before Expiration
by: Michael Chupka (With apologies to Clement Clarke Moore)
‘Twas the night before Expiration, and all through the market,
Volatility was stirring, many companies were off target.
The SEC hung watchful over the exchanges with care,
In hopes to save investors from another Ponzi-scheme scare.
Many, unfortunately were tired and struggled with debt,
While visions of large CEO bonuses danced in their heads.
“And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,”
Pondered which of the Big Three might be first to crack.
Would there be a government loan handed out on a platter?
Or would there be more mergers and restructuring there after?
Away to the computer, to turn my investments to cash,
Hoping to ride out further turmoil, concerned with another crash.
But I could not close out nor get my positions filled,
As we had decided to save by not paying our Internet bill.
“When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,”
But Protective Options Trading Strategies to counter my fears.
Limiting my holdings to single digit percentage risks.
With the potential for unlimited upside still the same,
I recalled all last year’s losers by name and in shame!
“Down Freddie, down Fannie, down Indy Mac and Lehman!”
“Farewell Countrywide, Merrill, Circuit City and Bear Sterns!”
To the bottom of the barrel, heightened by margin call,
“Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”
As further housing concerns continue to loom,
When most major credit companies still seem doomed.
So, the fate of the Big Three is still a broad concern,
I can trade with confidence using these techniques I learned.

And then, in a twinkling, there was more than what I thought,
Nine different income methods to help Bulletproof my stock.
“As I drew in my head, and was turning around,”
Down the chimney continued oil prices, all over town!
Even with high premiums on both sides of the trade,
I still find risk-reward ratios to keep me in the game,
Using the patented tools on PowerOptions I sort and sift,
Finding limited risk trades that give the Martingale fits.
That greedy, green-eyed monster of gambler’s ruin,
Angry that I can make money, even if I lose more than win,
“His droll little mouth drawn down like a bow,”
I’ve turned the table on the Martingale, using what I know.
But there is a right way and wrong way to dull its teeth,
A trade placed incorrectly can still bring you grief.
The only way to truly starve the Martingale’s belly,
Is to know the ins and outs, the peanut butter and the jelly.
One can start by purchasing Protective Options Strategies,
A neat little book that outlines these protective philosophies.
“A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,”
Ernie Z. will show you how to trade without dread.
For a more detailed methodology to follow and trade,
One can purchase the Blueprint, oh Happy Day!

Options trading involves risk and may not be suitable for all investors,
But you should use the Protective Investing Strategies and not be a speculator.
So from Kurt and Ernie and all the staff in sight,
“Happy Expiration to all, and to all a good-night!”
